Since the 16th century, the Christkindlesmarkt has developed from the "Kindleinsmarkt" into today's tourist attraction, visited by guests from all over the world. The Christmas tour entertainingly tells of children's gift-giving days, the Barbie doll of the Middle Ages and Christmas specialties such as the Kaiserlein, the Rauschgoldengel and the "Zwetschgermoh". The diverse wintry tastings such as the finest Elisen gingerbread, steaming mulled wine and hearty Bratwurst make the walk an experience for all the senses.
